Program

The program can be downloaded here.

Four major talks are planned, concrete examples of company/start-up creation based on fundamental concepts, talks on the process and means of support. We will also have short talks of the sponsors of the programs of prematuration and maturation.

A technology contest is planned and three prizes will be awarded.

A poster session will be organized to create links between the researchers of the DIM and the professionals of the valorisation. The three best posters will receive a prize!

Registration

Registration will be open from December 2, 2022 to January 17, 2023.

Participation and on-site catering (coffee breaks, lunch buffet) are free of charge, but registration is mandatory (the number of participants is limited to 100).

Registration and submission of an abstract require the creation of a Sciencesconf account.

Technology contest

The objective of the contest is to encourage thinking about technology transfer. The question asked to researchers is: "What experimental technique/technology/concept/software could come out of your laboratory?" The envisaged valorization can be the filing of a patent, the declaration of a know-how, a possible transfer to an industrialist, and the creation of a start-up.

All the teams listed in the DIM QuanTiP can participate in this competition. There are two steps in this contest.

In the first step, the file (3 pages max) must present the technology with respect to a possible patent application/technology transfer to an existing company/leading to the creation of a start-up. The fact that the members of the jury are not necessarily physicists, but actors of the valorization (representatives of SATTs, CNRS Innovation, Incubators...) should be taken into account.

In the second step, the technology must be presented by a member of the team at the Valorisation Awareness Day. The presentation will last 5 minutes followed by 10 minutes of questions.

The winners will be awarded one of three prizes of 4 k€, 6 k€ or 10 k€. This funding, paid to the team, will be spent freely, without necessarily being devoted to the realization of the presented valorization.
